What to know before my appointment

Do not wear makeup on the day of treatment. Any topical products used on the skin, such as acne creams or pigment control creams, should not be used on the day of or the day after treatment. Excess hair may need to be shaved the night prior. Men should be cleanly shaved.

In addition, you should not do any sun-tanning or self-tanners 4 weeks prior to treatment. This includes spray tans, tanning lotions, tanning beds, or extended sun exposure. Avoid treatments that may irritate the skin for 1-2 weeks prior to treatment (waxing, depilatories, etc.)
